Whangaumu Bay is a popular and safe swimming white sand beach. You can launch your boat and kayaks directly into the water – there are plenty of fishing spots nearby and a gas BBQ to cook up your catch!

  • Stunning location, just across the road from a child and swimming friendly beach. Plus, perfect for exploring the other amazing beaches in the area. Really well equipped kitchen and spotlessly clean throughout the accommodation with an extremely warm welcome. Many thanks.

    Hilly - Apr, 2018

  • The location was great as was the accommodation.

    Michael - Apr, 2018

  • "Super efficient, friendly and helpful" "An absolute great location with property having everything you need on hand. Being next door Trevor and MJ are helpful in need, but equally unobtrusive if you're just wanting to relax"

    Simon - Jan, 2018

  • Everything was easy to process and Sally was friendly to deal with. "Whangaumu Bay is a beautiful place and this property is brilliantly located, really peaceful at the end of the bay but still just seconds across the road and you're on the beach. So nice listening to the waves as you drift off to sleep. The bach is modern and clean and the living area is really spacious. The bed was really comfortable. The hosts live next door but you have heaps of privacy, and access to any help/advice you need, best of both worlds. Loved our stay, thanks heaps Trevor and MJ."

    Andy - Jan, 2018

  • "Appreciated the call to pay the bond and get that organised prior to our stay plus the phone call to see if we had arrived." "Great holiday home, it was fresh modern and has all the amenities required. It was nice to feel you were not staying in someone else place, as this is purely a holiday let only. Trevor the host who lives on site is helpful and friendly as the coastal homes rules seemed very restrictive, however dealing with Trevor made us at ease and he was accommodating and flexible with us having friends over for dinner. We enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable."
