Ngunguru 2 hrs 30 minutes north of Auckland is a wonderful area for a summer or winter holiday. Swn-Y-Mor (Welsh - pronounced Soon-E-More) is a spacious, comfortable, well equipped family home, that can sleep up to 13 PEOPLE MAX. Come and enjoy the spectacular views / relax by the fire, enjoy board games and books, play table tennis, paddle up the Ngunguru estuary, row over to the Ngunguru Sandspit - partake of wonderful walks and sporting facilities at the local sports complex, enjoy the local cafes. HOUSE: SLEEPS 8 MAX. Large open-plan living / dining / kitchen with walk in pantry, sunroom, 3 queen bedrooms (all have access to the deck), two single bedrooms, two bathrooms one with the laundry. Downstairs has a separate games room with table tennis, sports equipment, kayak and dinghy. The deck has outside furniture and a BBQ. The fenced section has a well established garden with paths amongst trees and a little hut, carport, off street parking for cars and a boat trailer. FLAT DOWNSTAIRS: SLEEPS 5 MAX. Open-plan kitchen and bedroom (1)- Queen and single bed. Bedroom 2 - 2 singles. Separate room with shower over shub and toilet. 100m walk to estuary / 5 minutes easy walking to children’s playground / fish and chip shop / 2 cafes / superette / sports complex with tennis / petanque / bowls / nine-hole golf course. The estuary has good boat ramps / waterskiing lane and fishing off the rocks. School beach 500m walk has safe shallows for supervised swimming. Tutukaka Marina a 5 minute drive has shops / superette / petrol station / restaurants / dive and fishing charter boats / trips to the world-class Poor Knights Marine Reserve. Nearby Whangaumu, Matapouri, Whale Bay, Woolleys and Sandy Bay offer safe swimming and surfing. Whangarei 20 mins away has many amenities / shops / cinema / Kiwi House, museum / miniature train rides and more just to name a few!
