Something for everyone! The Tree House is a very special spot tucked up stream in the Matapouri Estuary - total privacy. Excellent place to bring a kayak and paddle downstream. Matapouri Bay, with its beautiful white sand, is a few minutes drive away. Built in 2000’s, this architecturally designed Pacific-style beach house is beautifully appointed with quality furnishings, open plan living, set on 1.1ha of native bush which surrounds the home to bring an abundance of native birds and views looking down over the stream. It is a very private hideaway with bi-folding doors leading out onto a deck with good outdoor seating and deluxe BBQ, polished floors with modern appliances. It has three bedrooms consisting of two queenbeds which have their own deck access and one set of bunks. All beds come with full linen and bath towels. There is a nice large bath with a shower over the top, a private outside shower in the bush, washing machine and drier are available, separate toilet, leather lounge suite, DVD, video, television, stereo, dishwasher, heaters and hot water bottles, tea/coffee/sugar are provided. If you like nice things, peace and quiet with privacy, yet near many beautiful white sand beaches such as Matapouri Bay, Whale Bay, Wooley’s Bay and Sandy Bay, then this is certainly the place to stay.
