Accommodating up to 15 campers this special venue is ideal for large family camping trips who want that authentic experience of fishing out of the sea, and cooking your catch over a beach fire under the stars. Rocky Bay is also ideal for hosting special occasions such as birthdays, staff outings and team building days. Come and take advantage of the many kayaks, for an independent explore or a bit of competitive fun! Have a go at the aquatic golf, and snorkel to find your balls. The attractive art that dots the gardens provide entertaining discovery in a setting that inspires you to draw. Rocky Bay has a mooring for a boat and space for parking. With a flush toilet, outdoor shower and refrigerator in the boat house you can conveniently store food and drinks supplies without having to return to town. Surprisingly this venue is only a 5 min drive from the Tutukaka Marina where you will find charters to famous Poor Knights Islands, great restaurants and shops. It is also only a 10 minute drive to Matapouri beach, one of the most popular beaches on the coast. With ponds and ducks in the garden, and a sea often visited by dolphins and perfectly sheltered for swimming, escape from it all and connect with nature. Pitch your tent and enjoy.
