Situated on the historic Ngunguru River where the road meets the beautiful Tutukaka Coast, and sleeping up to four persons, Goldstones Unit 2 lends itself as the perfect accommodation for couples or small families. Unit 2 at Goldstones is a waterfront open plan studio situated below a balcony apartment. It consists of a queensize bed and twin singles that can be converted to a king bed, a ceramic cook top, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. Many smaller details having been considered, there are bathrobes and a hairdryer are available for your use, the beds are all made up with quality cotton linen and silk/wool duvet inners and plunger coffee sachets and a section of teas are offered. In the living area you will find an oil heater and Sky TV, DVD, VHS, CD and radio. Outside you have access to a smoke and roast gas BBQ and a private sunny courtyard. In addition, full laundry facilities are also available. Ngunguru is a fabulous little village that is nestled on the shores of the estuary. From Goldstones you have access to safe swimming at your doorstep. Cafes, the sports complex, a nine hole golf course and Greens Restaurant are all within walking distance. You are welcome to use the kayaks and mountain bikes provided for your entertainment – explore the estuary or if you are feeling energetic take a scenic bike ride along the Tutukaka Coast. You will find many activities on offer from the Tutukaka Marina, including diving and sightseeing tours out to the Poor Knights Islands where you will find some of the best diving in the world. There are also many beautiful beaches to explore along the Tutukaka Coastline. If you have taken advantage of some of the excellent fishing in the area barbeque your catch of the day and enjoy alfresco dining in the courtyard of this delightful accommodation. There is also a video and DVD library at Goldstones that you are welcome to utilise. Goldstones makes the perfect base for your Northland experience!
