White Sand for miles on this eastern stretch of coastal pleasure! Comfortably sleeping up to nine people, Moana Nui has four bedrooms. Upstairs the master bedroom contains a queen bed, a second room contains a set of single bunks, and a third contains another set of bunks. Downstairs the sleeping quarters has a double fold-out bed with its own ensuite (shower and toilet) and foldout bed. This area is adjoined to an internal double garage - perfect for housing the car and boat! The upper level boasts a modern open plan fully-equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge – just right for relaxed holiday living for a family or small group. Enjoy absolutely breathtaking sea views from the kitchen/lounge and dining room and of course the sunny wrap around deck! Furthermore, other spectacularly beautiful beaches nearby including Whatuwhiwhi, Rangiputa and Matai Bay lie only minutes drive away. The locals in Tokerau Beach are friendly and helpful. In the township there is a cafe and a petrol station - with a small range of grocery items available. Nearby you will also find the famous Carrington Resort which boasts an internationally renowned golf course and magnificent restaurant. The closest town with more comprehensive shopping available is Mangonui, being approximately a 15 minute drive away, drive for a further ten minutes and you will find Kaitaia. There are lots of activities on offer in the area to keep everyone busy and entertained. Just around the corner from Moana Nui is a Pitch 'n' Putt 9-hole golf course. If fishing is more to your liking, ‘Freespool Fishing Charters’ will take you on a magical oceangoing experience - Snapper is their speciality however they also often reel in Kahawai, Tuna, Trevelly and John-Dory (with bait and tackle supplied), you can even choose to have your fish smoked if you like. Freespool also offer great diving or snorkelling adventures. In addition there are plenty of opportunities for rock and beach fishing in the area as well.
